The Vamps Get Together For #TeamEmily
Twelve year old Emily was recently diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour and her one dream was to meet The Vamps, and today that happened. Part of the team had set up a Twitter page under the username @TeamEmily2016 where they tweeted various people to try and make her wish come true. The fans of the band then caught on and created the hashtag #getemilytothevamps which then spread to their management where they were able to make contact.
The Vamps boys met Emily and her family today for lunch. James posted a photo from the day and said “Great to meet Emily today. What a lovely angel. Very lucky to have lunch with her and her extremely loving family.”

From all of the photos and tweets it looks like they all had a great day meeting each other and Emily looked so happy that her wish had come true.
It is so lovely to see that The Vamps boys are using some of their time off for amazing causes and to make their fans’ wishes come true, it truly shows how much they care for everyone.

We can only imagine how hard it must be for the whole family, so having an afternoon where one big dream had come true for their daughter must have been an amazing thing to witness. We are so glad that it has finally happened for them.
We are sending all of our love and wishes to Emily and her family at this devastating time for them all. There is also a fundraising page here where you can donate to the family.
