Salsa King Marc Anthony Puts Tarzana Mansion On Market For $4.35 Million
Latin culture is know for being very romantic. Two-time Grammy winning artist Marc Anthony knows a thing or two about being romantic. All you have to do is listen to one of the many ballads he has sung over the years to see that. However, if you really want some proof, check out the house that he bought for his beautiful young wife Shannon de Lima for $4.1 million as a wedding present (thanks for making the rest of us look bad Marc).
She appears to have grown weary of her wedding present, since they have now put it on the market for $4.35 million.
Maybe all the writing on the wall and geometric shapes everywhere was making her think she was starring in a sequel to "A Beautiful Mind." Who knows…
The 6,590 square foot mansion was built just a couple years ago (2014), and has five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms along with plenty of space for dining, entertaining guests, work, and play.
The gourmet kitchen will bring the chef out in anyone, but there is one problem with it: with white counter tops, every absolute mess will stand out until you clean it.
The family room is nice and spacious, with a pair of nice sized windows capable of filling the room with natural light.
Mom and Dad can send the kids to the loft area to play if they want to have some time alone downstairs. However, if they don't, add a television and/or a game console of some kind and the kids will be back down in a heartbeat begging for something to do.
There will be plenty of room for Mom and Dad to get ready in the morning in this bathroom.
In the end, all the space inside is just icing on the cake to what the house comes with outside. Anthony made sure his lovely bride would be able to relax outdoors when she wanted to with a bar, built-in grill, fridge, fire pit, a gazebo, and a gunite swimming pool with a tremendous view of the San Fernando Valley.
Anthony has been in a selling mood over the last year. In April he sold his Encino mansion to JaVale McGee for $2.425 million, and he also sold the eight-acre compound he and ex-wife Jennifer Lopez shared on Long Island.
