Let Her Talk: Folks Blast T.I. for Interrupting Wife Tiny Harris After She Claims He Left Her

Rapper T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris recently opened up about their marital woes, and the rapper’s behavior toward his wife apparently didn’t sit too well with fans.

The “Live Your Life” rapper and Tiny appeared on Monday’s episode of Jada Pinkett-Smith‘s “Red Table Talk,” where they discussed their family and their marriage. The couple have been married for nine years, share three children together and have a blended family of seven kids total. However, in 2016, the pair’s marriage was left in limbo after they experienced a few relationship woes.

On the “Red Table Talk” episode, T.I. explained how his 11-month prison sentence in 2010 affected their marriage. He said his wife apparently felt she had to “figure out” life without him in that period of time because he wasn’t there to “continue the protocols and the practices” she was used to in their relationship.

Tiny agreed, and indicated that she’d found her “voice” in the midst of her husband’s prison sentence by standing on her own two feet. Her new attitude, however, was something T.I. apparently wasn’t used to and caused tension in their marriage.

“And that voice, it was a little different from what he was used to,” Tiny explained. “So that, to me, is what caused the issue.”

As Tiny continued on with her explanation, T.I. tried to interrupt her by saying, “OK, wait a minute —”

Tiny managed to finish her tirade with the help of Pinkett-Smith and said, “But, because I had a voice that was not so timid … Like, this is my outlook on it, I feel like he felt like, ‘This is not the woman I left and this is not what I want. I want somebody that if I tell her this she’s gonna listen.'”

“And that’s where he went,” the Xscape singer added, claiming that her husband left her for another woman.

After viewing the pair’s interview, fans called out T.I. for what they saw as his attempting to silence his wife during the conversation.

Tiny initially filed for divorce from T.I. in 2016 and another time in 2017, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Despite the singer’s divorce filings, the couple eventually reconciled. They recently celebrated their nine-year anniversary this summer and have been bragging about their love ever since.
