Kylie Jenner Slammed For Dressing Stormi Up In Age-Inappropriate Met Gala Dress Some Say I

Earlier today, Alexis Stone reported that Kylie Jenner dressed Stormi Webster up in a replica of her mother’s Met Gala dress. Since that time, controversy has erupted and some are slamming Kylie for what they say is “age-inappropriate” clothing for the one-year-old. Some have gone so far as to say that Stormi’s eyes appear sad in the photo, that she is not experiencing a “normal” childhood, and some have even said Stormi wearing the dress constitutes abuse.

Others have argued there is no difference between Stormi dressing up like her mother or dressing like a fairytale princess. Some pointed out that Kylie Jenner’s image is sexualized as was her appearance at the Met Gala — therefore they are arguing that it’s not the same as dressing up like a princess or character.

Twitter is blowing up and so are the comment sections of many articles where many are adamantly saying dressing like a grown woman isn’t the go-to choice for toddler’s costumes.

Some have expressed disdain that Kylie would think her daughter would want to be her on Halloween and found it to be narcissistic.

The Daily Mail covered the story earlier and saw an influx of negative responses flood the comment section.

Twitter went crazy and a second article was published citing all of the Twitter outrages.

What is interesting to note, is that if you look at the original Instagram post, many celebrities, designers, and Kylie’s friends praised the outfit and thought it was adorable.

The dress is actually a replica of a Versace gown and Stormi had her mother’s look down to the wig she wore.

It was the “common folk” who found dressing Stormi up like her mother to be a sign of narcissism and at worst, abuse.
