Barron Trump has been maintaining a relatively low public profile, but it looks like he might have drawn some attention to himself inadvertently thanks to some of his none-existing habits.

Recent reports indicate that President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump have officially prohibited their son from vaping.

This was revealed in an official statement made by Trump himself, in which he explained that he was trying to keep his son away from the dangerous activity, doing his best to explain how it was harmful and why he should not touch vapes.

Trump added that he does not like vaping himself, and was not a fan of anyone in his house using the devices.

The former reality TV star turned politician said: “We haven’t told him anything except, ‘Don’t vape. Don’t vape.’ We don’t like vaping. I don’t like vaping.”

Melania shared a tweet that explained her thoughts on the matter: “I am deeply concerned about the growing epidemic of e-cigarette use in our children. We need to do all we can to protect the public from tobacco-related disease and death, and prevent e-cigarettes from becoming an on-ramp to nicotine addiction for a generation of youth.”

Barron is still only 13, so it is clear why Trump and his wife might have some issues with him using a vape.

At the same time, some are saying that it would probably be difficult for them to control him forcibly and to ensure that he complies with their demands when he is away with friends.

However, then again, he is the son of the president which means there are security guards and chaperons with him all the time.

And it looks like Trump might take his disapproval for vaping even further — on a national scale — as he has recently been pushing for the ban of flavored vaping liquid.

The administration’s argument on the subject is that the manufacturers of these liquids specifically target children with their advertising, something which needs to be prevented on a more major level before it has spun out of control.

The announcement was met with mixed responses, as clearly, not everyone agrees with the Trump administration on this issue.
