Aghhh! Jedward Join the Cast of Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!

We’ve reported on this a couple of months back, but now it’s been officially confirmed:  John and Edward are in Sharknado 3!  Oh hell yes!

A press statement released today by Syfy UK said,

“Just when you thought it was safe to go outside…Irish duo Jedward are set to make their TV movie debut in the eagerly anticipated third instalment in the Sharknado franchise.

Identical twin brothers John and Edward Grimes will appear alongside Ian Ziering, Tara Reid and Cassie Scerbo in the latest helping of the global pop culture sensation, coming to Syfy UK within 24 hours of its US debut.”

Also appearing in Sharknado 3 are David Hasselhoff, as Fin’s father, Gilbert, and Bo Derek as April’s mother, May.  Additional cameo roles include Jerry Springer as a manic tourist by the name of Mr White (we’re looking forward to that one!), and *NSYNC singer Chris Kirkpatrick as a pool lifeguard. Wrestler Chris Jericho also features as Bruce the roller coaster operator.

Sharknado 3:  Oh Hell No! wil wreak havoc on all Syfy channels around the world – the franchise covers 86 different countries, including the UK and Australia, and across Europe, Asia and Latin America – premiering in international primetime within 24 hours of its US debut on Wednesday 22 July.

We loved the first two instalments of Sharknado – we can’t wait for this one! Oh Hell No!
